8:00 a.m.	Fit Kidz opens (Simsbury Meadows)
8:00 a.m.- 10:30 a.m.	Gene Donaldson & The Stingrays play at the Bandshell
9:00 a.m.	5K & 10K Awards at the Bandshell
10:00 a.m.	Half Marathon Awards at the Bandshell
10:40 a.m.	BAMM! The stage is taken over by the kids fitness experts to show fun ways to get moving!

Pre-Race Activities

Amica Inspiration Station: Amica Insurance wants the athletes to be inspired! The Amica Inspiration Station allows for families, friends and athletes to create a poster with words of encouragement to all of the runners.

Post-Race Festivities

Great food, music and race award presentations await your arrival at the finish area at the Bandshell at Simsbury Meadows on Iron Horse Boulevard.

After running or cheering, the aroma of bratwursts, dogs and burgers on the grill will surely attract you over to the Simsbury Boy Scouts’ food tent.

Families and spectators should come hungry, too! The Boy Scouts will be selling treats from the grill as well as pancakes to raise funds for their troop.

Finish Line Village & Fit Kidz Expo

Participants and spectators in the Amica Insurance Iron Horse Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K experience our Finish Line & Fit Kidz Expo. The exhibitors promote health and fitness for both adults and children. Some children's exhibits are interactive. Exhibitor names will be updated periodically.

Divisions and Awards heading

This event is timed by Bay State Race Services and uses the B-Tag timing system (timing chip is attached to the back of your race bib). Please wear your race bib on the front of your shirt.

AGE GROUP DIVISIONS:

Half & 10K - 5-year age groups from 15 & under-80+ (Half Marathon will be timed both gun and chip)

Finisher medals to all children in the Kids K
