BlumShapiro 5K for Camp Courant

Join runners, walkers and plenty of golf fans by participating in the BlumShapiro 5K for Camp Courant at the Travelers Championship to be held along the Cromwell roads that line the fairways and greens of TPC River Highlands and the spectacular new practice facility. When the race is done, you can keep the action going! All participants will be given one ticket valid for any one day admission to the 2012 Travelers Championship!

Golf season has arrived in Connecticut and that means
the PGA TOUR is coming to town!

Each summer the Travelers Championship, Connecticut’s legendary PGA TOUR event, brings Connecticut residents an opportunity to be part of the action at an exciting professional sporting event, while giving back to the community at the same time, as 100% of net proceeds of the tournament are contributed to local charities. This year, you can get into the spirit of the Travelers Championship by participating in the BlumShapiro 5K for Camp Courant at the Travelers Championship!

The event is a great way to support your community!

Entry Fee Donation: $5 of each entry fee will be donated to Camp Courant.

Race Participant Donations: All race participants are encouraged to make an additional donation to camp, $25 will send a kid to camp for day, $125 for a week and $750 for the entire season.

Pledges Per Participant: In addition, race participants are encouraged to collect sponsors to support the charities as well via an online donation system. (Please click here for further details.)
