BlumShapiro 5K for Charity at the Travelers Championship

Join runners, walkers and plenty of golf fans by participating in the BlumShapiro 5K for Charity at the Travelers Championship to be held along the Cromwell roads that line the fairways and greens of TPC River Highlands and the spectacular new practice facility. When the race is done, you can keep the action going! All participants will be given one ticket valid for any one day admission to the 2013 Travelers Championship!

the PGA TOUR is coming to town!

Each summer the Travelers Championship, Connecticut’s legendary PGA TOUR event, brings Connecticut residents an opportunity to be part of the action at an exciting professional sporting event, while giving back to the community at the same time, as 100% of net proceeds of the tournament are contributed to local charities. This year, you can get into the spirit of the Travelers Championship by participating in the BlumShapiro 5K for Charity at the Travelers Championship!

Race Beneficiary

New for 2013, runners will be able to choose their own race beneficiary! $10 from each registration fee will support the runner's designated charity of choice. Runners can also pledge beyond their race fee to the charity of their choice. Runners can even set up their own fundraising website so they can have family and friends donate to their chosen cause, with 100% of pledges directly supporting their charity.
