The Burn Calories for Fuel 5K/10K is a fundraiser for Operation Fuel, Connecticut’s sole statewide energy assistance fund. Operation Fuel provides emergency energy assistance to Connecticut’s elderly, disabled and working poor families. Over the past three decades Operation Fuel has distributed more than 28 million in energy assistance, helping more than 100,000 families stay warm during the winter and keep the lights on year round.

Operation Fuel brings together communities, businesses, government and individuals to ensure people in need have access to vital year-round energy assistance.
