Travel & Hotels

Many Hartford area hotels have reserved room blocks for this year's runners and their friends and families. New this year, a late check-out option for October 12 is available at many of the hotels, on a first-come-first-served basis. Since each hotel has a different policy, please read each description carefully before making your reservation. Please click here to reserve your rooms and take advantage of these competitive rates.
Please note:
The CT Convention & Sports Bureau is collecting hotel reservations for the ING Hartford Marathon and will turn them over to the hotels on October 8. At that point, the hotels will issue confirmation numbers for the reservations at the hotel. If you make a hotel reservation and then attempt to contact the hotel directly before October 8, they will not have a record of the reservation. Please be assured that you do have a hotel room confirmed via our system.
Note: The Hartford train station and bus station are directly across from the start and finish of the marathon.

Connecticut is a great place to visit. In Hartford, take a tour of the new Connecticut Science Center, the Mark Twain House or the Wadsworth Atheneum, America’s oldest public art museum. Try your luck at the casinos or take a foliage tour of Connecticut. When you run Hartford, you never run out of things to see and do.
