In an effort to recognize the many amazing personal journeys that compel participants to run the ING Hartford Marathon, Half Marathon and 5K, the Hartford Marathon Foundation is accepting nominations for the 2013 Elite Inspiration Team. To celebrate the 20th running of the ING Hartford Marathon, the Elite Inspiration Team will represent the overall theme of 'Coming Together' based on their positive contributions to the community. Team members will be selected from nominations received from the public and winners will be provided with Elite level benefits including a complimentary race entry and hotel stay, Pasta Supper and marathon apparel.

Criteria for inclusion in the Elite Inspiration Team

• Candidate profiles must reflect ways in which the runner has been positively linked to a cause or volunteer organization or ways in which the nominee has been an encouraging role model for others.
• Nominees must already be registered for the 2013 ING Hartford Marathon, Half Marathon or 5K on October 12, 2013
• Profiles will be accepted for any age or skill level
• Forms must be submitted by June 30, 2013
