DIRECTIONS

Directions to XL Center (Packet Pickup/Registration) - One Civic Center Plaza, Hartford, CT

PARKING

Be aware that roads will be closed to traffic for marathon preparation by 7:30 a.m. so allow plenty of time to arrive and park.

Bicycles:

There will be secure bike parking right inside Bushnell Park.

Carpoolers:

Free parking for those who Carpool! For our "Go Green" program, if you ride in with a buddy, you may park at the Aetna Garage.

Handicap Parking:

We have a limited number of Parking Passes for Handicapped Parking. No access after 7 am. Contact peggy@hartfordmarathon.com for a pass.

5K Runners - Leaving Downtown Before 11 am

If you plan to leave downtown Hartford before 11 am, you must park in the following locations due to road closures:

  • State of Connecticut parking lot at 165 Capitol Ave. These must be accessed via Buckingham Street - exit east to Hudson Street to the Conlin Whitehead Hwy.
  • Surface lots or garages near the Hartford XL Center - you will be able to access I-84 east or west or travel west on city streets
