In Person Registration and Packet Pickup:

• Friday, October 11:  11:00 am - 9:00 pm - Healthy Lifestyles Expo, XL Center
• No Race Day Registration or Pickup 

We have extended our hours at the Healthily Lifestyles Expo and Registration. On Friday, Registration and Packet Pickup will remain open until 9 p.m.

We strongly encourage participants to come to the Healthy Lifestyles Expo to pick up their packet and see the cool displays, exhibits and vendors of all things relevant to running and fitness. We’ll be offering some great swag and other incentives to get you into the Expo, so stay tuned.

Mail Packet Option

Due to the tremendous popularity of the ING Hartford Marathon and the staggering amount of race day logistics, we will not offer race day registration or packet pickup. We realize that this puts a burden on those participants who plan to come into Hartford on race day only. For the convenience of those runners, we are offering a mail option for packets. The cost for this service is $15 per packet and must be reserved by September 2, 2013.

You must register to have your race packet mailed to you. During the online registion process, select the "Register Now" link and register for one of the ING Hartford Marathon races. After you complete your race registration simply continue for a second registration and select "Mail Me My Race Packet for $15". Runners who are already pre-registered will need to revisit our "Register Now" links and specifically register for this option.

Note: If you designate another person to pick up your packet, your designee must bring a waiver/permission slip signed by you and a copy of your photo ID in order to obtain your packet. The permission format is included at the bottom of the Running Event Waiver.

Note:  Registration for the Kids K will be accepted on Race day from 8:30 AM - 9:30 AM in Bushnell Park at the Kids K Registration Tent next to the Carousel. 

Special Note on Team Relay Registration:

Marathon Runners who are part of a Relay Team must also register as a member on the relay team.

Half Marathon Runners MAY NOT participate in the Marathon Relay, since the courses diverge prior to Exchange Point #1.

• You must be able to complete the Marathon in 6 hours or less.
• You must be at least 16 years of age on race day to enter the Marathon.
• You must be 12 years of age on race day to enter the Half Marathon.
• All participants (parent/guardian if minor) must sign a Hartford Marathon Foundation waiver form and show a Photo ID to pick up your race packet.  

Our policy for wheelchair participation is as follows:

• Push-rim chairs are accepted in the Marathon, Half Marathon and 5K.
• Hand-crank chairs are not eligible for entry in the marathon due to course closure reasons.
• Hand-crank chairs are accepted in the Half Marathon and 5K.
