Post Race Festivities
Hang out after the race to enjoy the BEST post-race food with plenty of cold beer. The menu includes fresh fruit, and best of all – assorted pies with whipped cream. With a party like this just beyond the finish line - you’re sure to set a PR!

USA Triathlon Rules
This event is timed by Bay State Race Services and uses the Winning Time Chip system - 5 splits and finish time recorded - the chip is worn on a velcro strap on the ankle and will be distributed at packet pick-up. Chip must be returned at the finish line. $30 fee for unreturned chip.TRI CATEGORIES:
- Top three overall male and female finishers
- Male Age Group
- Female Age Group
- Clydesdale (men 220+lbs.)
- Athena (women 165+lbs.)
- Teams (Male, Female, Mixed)
TRI AGE GROUP DIVISIONS:
- 5-year age groups from 16-80+
- Top 3 overall male/female
- Top 3 in each male/female age division
- Top 3 Clydesdale and Athena
- Top team in each team category
- Top 3 overall male/female.
- Top male/female in masters.
- Top 3 in Aqua/Bike (male/female)

The site for this event is Brodie Park on West Hill Lake in New Hartford, CT. Brodie Park is located on the corner of West Hill Road and Niles Road. Parking is available in the park off of Niles Road. Enter the grass parking area on Niles Road across from Burwell Road, at the field house. When exiting please exit at the same entrance you came in.
The Hartford Marathon Foundation has an emergency texting service in place to be used in situations such as event cancellations or other emergencies where information needs to be delivered directly to you. We will be using this system for this event.
If we have changes to a race at the last minute, we can text you and inform you of the issue and what the plan is for the day of the race, and potentially save you time, money and sleep.
NOTE: We never use this information for anything other than real emergencies.
