The scenic course begins on the Higganum Green in front of the Higganum Center Old Fire House. Town Green, near 272 Saybrook Road, Higganum, CT.

The course is a challenging and hilly course with one sharp turn. The last mile of the course is on a downhill grade.

Pumpkin Run

Start is on Candlewood Hill Rd just past the green. Continue straight on Candlewood Hill Rd towards Maple Ave West. Make a sharp turn onto Maple Ave West. Right turn onto Scoville Rd extension. Out and back on Scoville rd extension. The turnaround point is at the cul de sac. Continue straight onto Scoville Road. Right turn onto Candlewood Hill Road. Right turn onto St. Peters Lane. Left turn onto Maple Ave. Left turn onto the pathway just prior to Killingworth Rd (Rte. 81). Left turn back onto Candle Hill Rd and finish.
