Shirt Pickup
Participants in the 5K and the Kids Run may pick up their race shirt on March 20 in Danbury or at the race in Hartford on March 23. No shirts are mailed to participants. Click here for more details.
Virtual Runners will be mailed their shirt after March 23rd.
Signage
Bright green signs will direct you to race services and mark the course.

Event Start Times
We strongly recommend that you plan to arrive in Hartford no later than 8:30 a.m. With 15,000 participants, it will take a little longer to pick up your shirt and be ready for the start.
Kids Fun Run: 10:00 a.m.
5K: 10:30 a.m.
This event is timed by Bay State Race Services and uses the B-Tag timing system (timing chip is attached to the back of your race bib). Please wear your race bib on the front of your shirt.
CATEGORIES:- Top three overall male and female finishers
- Male Age Group
- Female Age Group
- Clydesdale (men 200+lbs.)
- Athena (women 150+lbs.)
- Wheelchair
- Newtown Resident
- First Responder (Police, Fire, EMS)
AGE GROUP DIVISIONS:
- 5-year age groups from 5-80+
AWARDS:
- Top 3 overall male/female
- Top 3 in each male/female age division
- Top 3 in each male/female Newton Resident division
- Top 10 in each male/female First Responder division
