 Note: Registration is now CLOSED.  Capacity has been reached and no further participant entries will be accepted.  Donations will be accepted through race day. Thanks for the incredible turn-out in support of this worthy cause.

Transfers/Refunds

Deadline for transfer/cancellation was February 15, 2013.

Team Registration

Team Registration is now closed. Team Captains and Team Members may check their own rosters.

  1. On your Confirmation email receipt click on the link for "personal event profile" found on the top right side of email in the section titled "Your Profile".
  2. As prompted enter your Confirmation Code (found on your Confirmation email receipt)
  3. As prompted set a password for your personal account.
  4. Once in your account click on the button "Manage"
  5. Team captains and all team members can then view their team roster. Team captains can also send team invitations to non-registered friends. Team captains may also designate a new captain for the team.

First Responders

In honor of the Newtown First Responders, we offer a division specially for Police officers, Firefighters and Emergency Medical Providers. We will award 10 deep in this division. And thank you for your service to our communities.

Virtual Runner

Virtual Runner registration is NOW CLOSED.  For those registered for the Virtual Division, you run a 5K wherever you are. We will list your name in the results (without a finish time) and we will mail you a race shirt after the event has occurred. Your entry fee is a 100% donation to the Sandy Hook School Support Fund.

Bib Mailing

Race bib with timing chip were mailed to any entry received by midnight on February 24th. Please do not call or email the race office if you have not received your bib in the mail.  We will reissue you a new bib when you pick up your shirt.  Your previous bib will be cancelled.  Entries received after February 24 will be held for pickup. Click here for more details.

Packet Pickup:

(including shirt, race bib and timing device)  

Note: If you designate another person to pick up your packet, your designee must bring a waiver/permission slip signed by you and a copy of your photo ID in order to obtain your packet. The permission format is included at the bottom of the Running Event Waiver.  If you have your bib and designate another person to pick up your shirt, your designee must bring your bib.

  • Wednesday, March 20:  3 to 7pm – O'Neill Center (43 Lake Avenue Extension, Western CT State University, Danbury)
  • Saturday, March 23 (Packet Pickup Only):  8:00 to 9:30am – Hartford. If you entered on a team, pick up at the Metro Center, Church Street, Hartford. If you did not enter as a team member, pick up at XL Center, Trumbull Street, Hartford.

Online Registration Fee

Each online registration is charged a fee by Chronotrack, provider of registration services. The fee is added onto your entry fee.

Technical shirt upgrades will be available for purchase on race day in Hartford.
