Summer Solstice Trail Run

Sunday - June 15, 2014

Gay City State Park, Hebron CT

Start Time:  7:30 AM

3.3 Mile & 5.5 Mile Trail Runs

Celebrate the Summer Solstice with a beautiful early morning trail run in Gay City State Park in Hebron. We offer a choice of a 5.5 mile or 3.3-mile run on Gay City’s impressive trail system through the park and surrounding forests. Trails are well maintained but expect some rocks and roots along the way.

A little extra love for Dads

Fuelbelt_logoFuelbelt_water_bottleEvery dad who registers and runs the Summer Solstice Trail Run on Father's Day (June 15) will receive a FREE FuelBelt Sprint Hand Held Water Bottle, compliments of FuelBelt and HMF. Just show us a photo of your adorable kids at Packet Pickup on Sunday, and show some love for FuelBelt by liking them at

The Sprint will come in handy immediately. All runners in Summer Solstice will carry their own water. No cushy water station at this one.

Gay City State Park is the remnants of an 18th century abandoned mill town in Hebron. You will pass the remains of the old paper mill, cross over the Blackledge River and view many traditional old stone walls in the deep woods. The park is located on Route 85, near the border of Bolton.
