Free First Timers Triathlon Clinics presented by HMF

Gear up for the Niantic Bay Triathlon, Women’s Triathlon and Ocean Beach Triathlon. This informal presentation will cover all the basics you need to enjoy your first triathlon experience or improve yourself in your second or third event. Conducted by Daria Vander Veer, USAT Official and 20 year veteran of short and long distance triathlons. Topics will include what to expect in each stage of the race, basic USAT rules to avoid penalties and what to do with all the equipment! Question and answer time will follow. No registration is needed!

Group Triathlon Training with Team Training New England

logo_TTNEHartford Marathon Foundation is partnering with Team Training New England (TTNE) for a second season! They offer Sprint and Olympic Distance groups, plus convenient drop in sessions. The training groups are for both men and women and meet twice per week on Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings in the Greater Hartford area. Here’s a sampling of what’s covered:

  • Full training plan that maps out what your workouts are each week
  • Open water swim coaching
  • Cycling workshops
  • Running skills
  • Nutrition
  • Injury prevention
  • Group social events, vendor discounts and more…

Sprint Distance: May 8 – Mid July
$359 (does not include race fee). 10 week training program.
Olympic Distance: May 8 – end of June
$359 (does not include race fee) 10 week group training
Drop-In Sessions: $25 each
