Triathlon Training
New this year, Hartford Marathon Foundation will be partnering with Team Training New England (TTNE) for both Sprint and Olympic Distances, plus convenient drop in sessions. The training groups are for both men and women and meet twice per week on Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings in the Greater Hartford area.

Meet your coaches in person to help you decide, answer your questions and explain how the training programs work. Our appearances are quick (1 hour), informative and there is no pressure to buy a time-share! Click here to see the full programming description.
Sprint Distance:
Fee: $299 (does not include race fee). 10 week training program from May 9 - July 15th
Race: Amica 19.7 Ocean Beach Sprint Triathlon
Olympic Distance:
Fee: $399 (does not include race fee) 10 and 12 week training programs from April 18th - June 24.
Race: Litchfield Hills Olympic Triathlon
Drop-In Sessions:
There will be 25 available drop-in sessions during the training program from April 18-July 11. Fee: $25 per session, $100 for 5 sessions, $180 for 10 sessions. Swim only dates: 4/18, 4/25, 5/02, 5/09, 5/16, 5/23 (Wednesday evening); Outdoor pool swims: 6/06, 6/13 (Wed evening) Open water swims: 6/09, 6/16*, 6/2*, 6/3*, 7/07* (Early Saturday morning) *Includes choice of Open Water swim, Brick and Mini Tri

Individual Coaching
Rocket Science Tri Coach Becky Bryant is a USAT Certified Coach with over 20 years of triathlon experience. She swam competitively, bicycled and ran most of her life, and fell in love with the sport of triathlon in the mid-1980's. Welcome to Triathlon!
Pick up your packet and stay for an informational presentation that will cover all the basics you need to enjoy your first triathlon experience or improve yourself in your second…or third. Conducted by Daria Vander Veer, USAT Official and 20 year veteran of short and long distance triathlons. Topics will include what to expect in each stage of the race, basic USAT rules to avoid penalties and what to do with all that equipment! Question and answer time will follow. No registration needed. All clinics are during packet pickup, the day before the event.
