Triathlon Start Time:  8:00 a.m. Winding Trails, Farmington

Sunday, September 14 is this year's special event – our Women’s Triathlon at Winding Trails, Farmington.

The sprint distance tri, conducted in a friendly non-intimidating environment, caters to women of all abilities and ages. Participants will swim a 1/2 mile loop in the Winding Trails lake, cycle 12 miles through the quiet roads of Farmington and Avon and then enjoy a flat 5K run through the wide dirt trails in Winding Trails.

If you’ve never participated in a triathlon, this Women’s Triathlon is for you. Come along and experience a supportive and friendly environment for beginners, and competition for the experienced triathletes.

PREVIEWS
Participants interested in previewing the facilities at Winding Trials before race day can do so on September TBA and not before.  HMF does not have permission to use this facility other than the specified dates.  Please do not jeopardize the event returning to this fabulous facility by not adhering to the rules.  Thank you.

The Women’s Triathlon will benefit the Winding Trails Fund which is an independent, non-profit, organization serving people from Farmington and surrounding communities by providing year round recreational and educational activities for the enjoyment and growth of families and individuals of all ages. It provides less fortunate children in our community with a chance to attend summer camp. Plus, it provides nature awareness, research, and ongoing environmental improvements to the forests and waterways of Winding Trails.
