great volunteer support, and a spectacular finish inside the State Armory.
This event is open to runners and walkers of all ages.
Plus, special military divisions for Army, Air, Marines, Navy and Coast Guard and a Fun Run for Kids.

DEADLINE FOR FREEDOM RUN/WALK - Print, complete and mail or fax according to instructions on the form. Payment may be made by credit card or check (made payable to HMF). Paper copies must by postmarked or faxed by - Saturday, November 6, 2010.

The Freedom Run is a family event. Little Guards (children ages 2 - 11) can register in advance or on Race Day for $10. All Little Guards receive a t-shirt and finishers medal.
The Kids Fun Run will begin immediately following the 5K at (add 45 minutes to race start time). Parents are encouraged to assist with the operation of the kids' event.
Several distances will be offered including 50 yds., 1/4 mile, 1/2 mile and 1-mile. Kids will be placed in appropriate distance group according to their age and ability. Kids race course is run completely on sidewalks behind the Armory and in Bushnell Park.

The State Armory is located at 360 Broad Street in Hartford adjacent to the Legislative Office Building (LOB). Parking is free and located across the street from the Armory in the open lot at the corner of Broad Street and Capitol Avenue. |

| Winning Time chip is worn on Velcro strap on the ankle and will be distributed at packet pick-up. Chip must be returned at the finish line. $30 fee for unreturned chip. |

Congratulations to the 328 finishers in the 2009 Freedom Run.
Anthony Gonsalves came in first in the Men's Division in an amazing time of 16:46.
Tessa Mah was first in the Women's Division with 20:53.
Efforts will be made to post the results in this section by 5 p.m. on race day.
