		A 5K RUN Sunday - April 25, 2010 Start Time: 1:00 PM START LOCATION:  High Street South Glastonbury, CT

This is an annual event that benefits the Glastonbury High School Crew Team.  Non-runners can help the GHS Crew Team by making a donation.  This event is a beautiful 3.1-mile (5K) course run completely along the Connecticut River and farmlands in South Glastonbury.

Available only for online entrants

Online registration closed on Tuesday, April 20 at 11 a.m.  
Walk-in registration is available.  Please check below for details.

DEADLINE FOR GLASTONBURY RIVER RUN -   Print, complete and mail or fax according to instructions on the form. Payment may be made by credit card or check (made payable to HMF). Paper copies must by postmarked or faxed by Saturday, April 17, 2010.

Read 2010 Final Instructions for Glastonbury River Run. Race Finish and Post Race Festivities are on the corner of Beechwood and High Street.  Please be courteous of resident’s property on High Street.

Course Review: Beautiful 3.1-mile (5K) course run completely along the Connecticut River in South Glastonbury. Loop, mostly flat course with only one turn and one hill (downhill on way out and uphill on return). Start & Finish – High Street, South Glastonbury, CT.

To High Street, South Glastonbury:  From Hartford: Rte 2 East to Rte 17 South. Continue on Rte 17 (Main St.) to High Street on right. Main and Hopewell Restaurant will be on your left. South Congregational Church will be on the right corner of Main/High. Parking - Abundant parking near the start. Parking located in soccer field behind High Street School on right.

The Hilton Garden Inn and Homewood Suites have locations in Glastonbury.

We especially appreciate the volunteers provided by the Friends of Glastonbury Rowing and parents and students of Glastonbury High School Crew Team. Winning Time chip is worn on Velcro strap on the ankle and will be distributed at packet pick-up.  Chip must be returned at the finish line. $30 fee for unreturned chip.

Efforts will be made to post the results in this section by 5 p.m. on race day.    If you think there's an error with your results, please email events@hartfordmarathon.com within 48 hours of the race.

In 2010, Jeff Paterno of Malden MA came in 1^st in a blistering time of 16:25.  Brian Poirier of Windsor CT finished 2^nd with a time of 17:24 and Michael Turner of Willington CT finished 3rd in 17:45.

In the Women’s Division, Maggie Selzer of Middletown CT finished 1^st in 20:09; 2^nd place finisher was Emily Merriam of Haddam CT in 21:01; followed closely by last year's winner Dani Kennedy of Bolton CT in 21:10

Congratulations to all 317 finishers who braved the rainy weather!  Special thanks to all our volunteers, runners, and spectators who came out to support the Glastonbury HS Crew Team.
