Course Informations

The 10K and 5K start in the same place - driveway of the Solomon Welles House - and follow the same course until Main and State Streets where the courses split off.

The 5K course follows Hartford Avenue to Garden Street to the Broad Street Green. A quick loop around the Broad Street Green onto Broad Street turns right onto Marsh Street and left onto Hart Street.

From Hart Street take a right onto Main Street and enter the Wethersfield Cove. The finish is on the path from the cove to the Solomon Welles House.

10K runners will turn left at Main and State Streets, left again onto Hartford Ave., a right onto Nott Street with another left back onto Garden Street to do the loop again.  The finish is identical to the 5K once back on Main Street and going into Wethersfield Cove.

Both courses are accurately measured but not certified. The run is scenic and flat on good road pavement (except for a 100 yard section of grass by the cove).
