Congratulations to the 416 runners who braved the wet weather and crossed the finish line at the 2010 O'Niantic 5K. Crossing the finish list 1st in 16:50 was Kevin Martin of East Lyme CT'; Staz Dawson came in 2nd place with 17:58; followed by Ben Spector of Niantic CT finishing 3rd in 18:02 In the Women's Division, Kati Gosnell of Groton CT came in 1st with a time of 20:17; 2nd place finisher was Dorothy Cohen of Madison CT in 21:34; followed by Amy Waddington of Waterford CT finishing 3rd in 22:01 View all results NOTE TO AWARD WINNERS: If you won an award and did not pick it up after the race, you can stop by Niantic Bay Bicycles to pick it up in person. | ||||||||||

The Restaurant Relay consists of 4 loops of a ¼ mile route in downtown Niantic. Each team member will run one loop for a total of ¼ mile run. Team members must carry a tray of beer which is passed along from start to finish. The fastest team with the most beer left in glasses wins!
- Teams may have 2-4 members.
- Each member must run at least one complete leg. Any one member may run up to 3 legs, in any order.
- Relay runners will carry and handoff a tray of beer. Trays and beer will be distributed at the start.
- Relay runners must be 21 years of age to participate.
- All 3 exchange points will be on Methodist Street by Niantic Bay Bicycle.

Arrive Early! - Park in municipal lots located off Hope Street OR on Main Street OR at Hole in the Wall Beach. View map of downtown Niantic for parking locations.
- Do not park in grocery lot, adjacent to The Black Sheep. You will be towed!
- Late Registration and Packet Pickup is available at Dick's Sporting Goods in Waterford on Friday, 5 - 7 pm or on race morning at Niantic Movie Theater from 8 - 9:15 am
- Race start is on Methodist Street in front of Niantic Bay Bicycle
- Post race parrty at Black Sheep Pub - participants over the age of 21 will receive one (1) free Bud Light

The Wee Mile is a children's event for Wee Ones (ages 2-11). The 1-mile course starts right before the 5K run at 9:00 a.m. immediately followed by the 5K. The Wee Mile is a one mile, untimed event. Wee Ones can register in advance or on Race Day. $10 entry fee includes a t-shirt and finisher medal. Parents/ escorts accompanying their children may run for free. Parents will be required to sign a waiver for their children and are encouraged to assist with the operation of the Wee Mile. |

Can you or someone you know step forward to volunteer at an HMF event? Invite your own fans to come, cheer and help us at the race. Volunteers are always needed at every event. All volunteers receive an official race t-shirt, refreshments and great times! Three ways to sign up to volunteer:

| Winning Time chip is worn on Velcro strap on the ankle and will be distributed at packet pick-up. Chip must be returned at the finish line. $30 fee for unreturned chip. |
