Course Information

Course Review:

The Shamrock Duathlon race course is comprised of two 5k runs and an exhilarating 26k bicycle trek through the scenic New England backdrop of Glastonbury, CT.  A true test of endurance for both seasoned and beginning duathletes of all ages.

Map - Run Course

Both runs follow the same course, a flat, double loop in neighborhoods surrounding the Hubbard Green. You will run on well paved, wide roads in an area that doesn’t see much traffic on an early Sunday morning.

Shamrock Duathlon - Run Course

Map - Bike Course

Bike course is a 26k loop of rolling hills through the apple orchard country of Glastonbury. Long straight-aways, a couple of steady climbs, and a few quick turns makes this early season course a good test of endurance.  Seasoned athletes will find the course fast and exhilarating while beginners will enjoy the challenge of the ride yet be very comfortable with the wide shoulders and manageable distance.
