Pat Keane shared this touching story with us. "It concerns a participant in the 2008 Niantic Bay Triathlon. The story will not likely get picked up by a national magazine, but it is a good story and is of interest to the race." She states "We did do the [Niantic Bay Triathlon] race this year [2009] and we had an incredible time."
