The Fibrolamellar Cancer Foundation (FCF) was established to increase awareness and raise research funds for fibrolamellar hepatocellular carcinoma, a rare form of liver cancer that is primarily diagnosed in teens and young adults. Currently, there are no viable treatment options other than liver resection surgery.
| Our mission is to find a cure and reliable treatment options for those diagnosed with this rare disease as well as enhance communication among healthcare professionals and patients. Donated funds to the FCF will go towards the analysis of fibrolamellar tissue to identify genetic traits, risk factors and to establish effective chemotherapy regimens. | ||

Jane Doe No More is educating the public about sexual assault, and advocating for a society that gives victims and their families every chance for a full and healthy recovery. Our goal is that through increased training and awareness, each person who interacts with the victim will be better prepared so that no further emotional harm is inflicted and the healing process is allowed to continue.
|
Founded in January 2007 by Connecticut resident Donna Palomba, a survivor of sexual assault, Jane Doe No More is having a lasting impact in Connecticut and across the country. In August 2007, Governor Jodi Rell signed into law a bill eliminating the statute of limitations on sexual assault crimes in which DNA evidence was involved. Donna Palomba’s case was the impetus for the change in the law. Donna’s inspirational story was featured in a Dateline NBC 2-hour special; click here to see a video clip.
