 Follow BLUE course markings for the Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
Start: 8:00 a.m.      Course Records
Starts with the Marathon and follows portions of the same course.

The ING Half-Marathon course will split from the marathon at mile 3, at which time half marathon runners will head back towards Hartford. The half-marathoners will also run on the riverfront trail. Once exiting the trail, runners will head towards the vibrant, revitalized Park Street neighborhood.

Half Marathon Route
START

HARTFORD

  • Elm Street (near Clinton Street intersection)
  • Bear Right onto Pulaski Circle (counterclockwise loop
    of circle)
  • Left onto Wells Street (stay right of all medians)
  • Wells Street becomes Trumbull Street at Gold Street
  • Bear right following Trumbull Street (at Jewell Street)
  • Right onto Pearl Street
  • Straight onto Central Row
  • Straight onto State Street
  • Bear left on State Street to run on the westbound lanes of Founders Bridge
  • Straight across Founders Bridge
MILE 1
  • Left off Founders Bridge onto Darlin Street
  • Left onto East River Drive
MILE 2
  • Right into Two Rivers Magnet School
  • Loop counterclockwise around school drive
  • Right onto East River Drive
MILE 3
  • Left onto Main Street, Route 5
    (North on Main Street using southbound traffic lane)
  • Left onto Pitkin Street
MILE 4
  • Left onto Exit 3 and cross over the Founders Bridge
  • Straight onto State Street

  • Right onto Market Street

  • Right onto Weston Street
  • Right into Riverside Park

  • Bear left to boat launch
  • Bear right onto riveredge trail

  •  Exit and left on Van Dyke Avenue

  • Right on Wawarme
  • Right on Hendricxsen
  • Right on Curcombe
  • Left onto Huyshope
  • Left on Charter Oak Avenue

  • Left on Main Street
  • Right on Park Street

    Office Building
  • Straight onto foot bridge into Bushnell Park
