Start: 8:00 a.m.

The ING Greater Marathon continues on the new course introduced last year which showcawses the revitalized riverfront and neighborhoods of Hartford.

The new and improved course incorporates fewer turns and elevation increases, making the marathon more attractive to runners, while still offering a breathtaking view of the Connecticut River.

The half marathon, team relay and 5K also continue on the new course implemented in 2007.  The entire route offers picturesque scenery and bright autumn foliage.

Thanks to everyone for the positive feedback on the new courses!!

The ING Hartford Marathon is a Boston qualifier and
results are automatically transferred to BAA.
We offer PACE LEADERS to assist runners
who wish to run Boston qualifying times.
See information on Marathon Pace Teams.

Not Allowed on the Course:
No bicycles, rollerblades, skateboards, wagons
or motorized vehicles. No dogs. No unregistered runners.
We discourage the use of headphones.
