The Hartford Marathon Foundation offers training programs for runners and triathletes. Groups are open to all ages and fitness levels from beginners to experienced racers. Our weekly group runs and rides are held in convenient locations throughout central Connecticut. Participants can join in at any time. |

Don’t miss the Hartford Marathon Foundation’s free open house on March 7, 2010 and discover that you can be a runner, try a triathlon, get fit and have fun while doing it. |

The Open House will be held from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. at Healthtrax Wellness Center in Glastonbury CT.

It is free and open to all ages and abilities.

A 3-mile fun run led by our State RRCA (Road Runners Club of America) Representative, Art Byram will begin at 1:00 p.m.from the Wellness Center. The run is open to all ages and abilities, including walk/runners.

Most Training Groups meet at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday mornings on Main Street in Glastonbury, either at the fountain (Main St & Hebron Ave) or in front of Cycling Concepts (across the street from the fountain) at 2343 Main Street, except where noted. |
Looking for a change of pace in your workouts? Need a new fitness challenge? Interested in training with a group? The Sprint Triathlon program is designed for beginners who want to complete their first triathlon or novices who need more practice and information. The Olympic Triathlon program is designed for experienced racers who want to improve skill and speed, endurance, strength and discipline.

Two free clinics will cover all the basics you need to enjoy your first triathlon experience or improve yourself in your second...or third.. Both sessions will be conducted by Daria Vander Veer, USAT Official and 20 year veteran of short and long distance triathlons. Topics will include what to expect in each stage of the race, basic USAT rules to follow to avoid penalties, and what to do with all that equipment! Question and answer time will follow. |
