| HARTFORD STAR SHUTTLE |
 |
The Hartford Star Shuttle is a FREE, downtown circulator service for downtown residents, workers, tourists and visitors. It operates from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Monday - Friday and from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. on Saturdays. Three buses will operate during peak weekday hours, with two buses in service during all other hours. This will provide service approximately every 10 minutes along the circulator route. | |

The shuttle route has been designed to connect the new Connecticut Convention Center, the Riverfront, the Arts and Entertainment District, various restaurants, and downtown hotels. View the Star Shuttle Route. | ||

From the East Take Interstate 84 to exit 48 (Asylum Ave.). Turn left off exit and take 1st right after underpass onto Ford St. Bushnell Park will be on your right.
From the West Take Interstate 84 east to exit 48a (Asylum Ave.). Turn right off exit and take next right onto Ford Street. Bushnell Park will be on your right.
From the South Take Interstate 91 north to exit 29a (Capitol Area). Stay straight until Bushnell Park.
From the North Take Interstate 91 south to exit 29a (Capitol Area). Stay straight until Bushnell Park. Bushnell Park is located across from Hartford's train and bus station.

The XL Center is the location of packet pickup on Thursday, October 8, Friday, October 9 and on Saturday, October 10, 2009 - Race Day.
ALL PACKET PICKUP WILL BE HELD AT THE XL CENTER ON RACE DAY. 
No walk-in registrations will be accepted on race day.

$5 all day beginning Friday evening and all day Saturday and Sunday, 10/9-11
Selected Ct. Parking Services, Pro Park, Laz and Central Parking lots
$5 to $6.50 daily max depending on location.
1,800 free parking spaces will be divided among locations.
Morgan Street Garage
$4 after 5pm on Friday, 10/9
$4 before 5pm on Saturday, 10/10
Union Station (across from train station)
Parking lot located at Asylum & Spruce St

| DRIVING DIRECTIONS TO PARKING AREAS IN DOWNTOWN HARTFORD |
Be aware that roads will be closed to traffic for marathon preparation by 7:30 a.m.
Allow plenty of time to arrive and park.
FROM THE NORTH: (Morgan Street Garage) – 6 blocks to start) $ Take I-91 South to Exit 32-B (Trumbull Street). Once you get of the exit take a left at the light onto Market Street. Continue through the 3rd set of lights (Market and Talcott Streets) take a left onto Talcott Street. Take immediate left into the garage.
FROM THE NORTH: (Church Street Garage) (4 blocks to start) $ Take I-91 South to Exit 32-B (Trumbull Street). Straight off exit. Church Street is 5 lights on the right. Garage entrance is on right.
FROM THE EAST ( Morgan Street Garage) (6 blocks to start) $ Take I-84 (from Boston). Take Exit 54 (Downtown Hartford) left exit. Cross over the Buckeley Bridge. At the 2nd light turn right onto Market Street. Take the 1st right onto Talcott Street and an immediate left into the garage.
FROM THE WEST (165 Capital Avenue surface lot) (1 block to start) FREE Take I-84 East, Exit 48 Capital Avenue Exit. Turn right off the exit ramp and go one block to Capitol Avenue. Take left onto Capitol Avenue and proceed past the State Capitol on the left. Go straight at traffic light. Parking lot is 1 block straight ahead.
FROM THE WEST (Hilton surface lot) (adjacent to start) $ Take I-84 East to Exit 48-A (Asylum Street/R.R. &Bus Station) Take a right at end of ramp. At second light take a right onto High Street and left at the first traffic light. Parking is to the left.
FROM THE SOUTH (165 Capitol Avenue surface lot) (1 block to start) FREE Take I-91 North towards Hartford. Take Exit 29A (Capital Area). Follow to the rotary and follow ¾ way around staying in the right lane. Take a right on Hudson Street (follow blue “H” Hospital signs). One block straight ahead is Capitol Avenue. Take a right on Capitol Avenue. Parking is to the left.
