The ING Greater Hartford Marathon runs on volunteers. It is a grassroots-led event staged by over 1,500 volunteers. These people have made the ING Hartford Marathon the largest, single-day, volunteer operated event in Connecticut.

One of the many volunteer tasks is the water station - come experience the rush as you hand out water to runners passing by while never breaking their pace.
It will be an experience you won't soon forget.

| This is a wonderful opportunity for church groups, colleges, civic organizations and businesses to bring their people together in the spirit of team building and community support. |

All volunteers receive an official ING Hartford Marathon t-shirt at the Volunteer Check-In area when reporting in to volunteer.
