Refund Protection available for purchase at the time of registration only. Registrants may also defer entry for credit to a future HMF event (no later than 14 days before race date) or transfer registration directly to another participant. Read the details on updated policies HERE

HMF virtual events give participants the flexibility to participate when and where it is convenient. As such, there are no refunds and no deferments for virtual events. For complete details on HMF deferments/transfers and all policies, click here.

PACKET PICKUP

All participants must show a Photo ID to pick up race packets (parent/guardian of minors must show ID).

Show your Check-in Pass at packet pickup to speed up the process. Download your Check-in Pass onto your phone within your participant account.

Credit Cards and Apple Pay accepted for race day race registration and event merchandise. No cash.


Thursday Before Race: 4:00 to 6:00 PM – Goodwin University, Riverside Drive, East Hartford, CT

Note: To designate someone to pick up another runner’s race packet, designee must bring or show a copy of this signed waiver/permission slip. Photocopies or phone pictures of the form will be accepted.

RUN FOR GOOD

MAIL MY PACKET:
For the convenience of runners who plan to come to Simsbury on race day only, the mail packet option is available during online registration for $20 per packet and must be reserved by Sunday, May 12, 2024. PERSONALIZED BIB:
Have your first name printed on your race bib by purchasing the Personalized Bib product available during registration for $10. This must be purchased by Sunday April 14, 2024. Please note, your bib will be available for pickup at the race packet pickup(s).

MAIL MY PACKET & PERSONALIZED BIB:
Do you want to have your race packet mailed to you along with a personalized race bib with your first name on it? ITAB PERSONALIZED MEDAL PLATE:
An iTAB lets you personalize your race medal with your name and finish time. The special, personalized plate slides onto your finisher medal’s ribbon. It helps you remember your race day for years to come. More Information

RACE PHOTOS:
FinisherPix is the official photographer at the UConn Health Half Marathon, 10K, & 5K. 24-48h after the race, you can view and order your personal race photos. Save money by pre-ordering your photos during the registration process or after you’ve registered through your Participant Account, click here to access.

PARTICIPANT REQUIREMENTS

At least 12 years of age on race day to enter the Half Marathon (virtual or in-person).

At least 9 years of age on race day to enter the 10K (virtual or in-person).

At least 5 years of age on race day to enter the 5K (virtual or in-person).

All participants (parent/guardian if minor) must sign a Hartford Marathon Foundation waiver form and show a Photo ID to pick up race packet.

EMERGENCY TEXTING SERVICE

HMF has emergency texting services in place to be used ONLY in situations such as event delays, cancellations or other emergencies. If we have last-minute event changes, we will text pertinent instructions/updates. NOTE: We never use this information for marketing or solicitation.
