Some new themes combined with returning favorites hope to inspire with a variety of options and training resources available through the Support Hub to encourage success. Parlay one awesome race experience to other events to inspire longer-term goals rewarded with commemorative swag. The 2025 multi-race options include walker-friendly events in March, the new HMF Sampler suitable for various distances and for walkers, as well as the end-of-season Sleigh the Ks challenge that can easily inspire a variety of run or walk pace goals.

SPRING 10K CHALLENGE
Motivate the running season with a three-race goal. Give yourself a great reason to keep up the effort over three months with different courses, custom swag at each race and an extra commemorative medal to show for the completion of the challenge.

SHORELINE CHALLENGE
In a twist on the popular return race series, the Shoreline Challenge explores three beautiful race courses in participants’ distance of choice! These scenic courses all feature picturesque water views to fuel you through your race, with a commemorative medal awaiting after the third finish.

CONNECTICUT DOUBLE
The ultimate state challenge…work up from half marathon in June to full marathon distance at the premier 26.2 mile experience in Connecticut. Get support and encouragement through the journey and then celebrate after your iconic finish line moment under the Arch in Hartford with an extra special medal.

RIVERFRONT SUMMER SERIES
A trio of varying race distances on Thursday evenings, this happy hour challenge welcomes moving with friends and celebrating summer evenings. Series finishers will don quarter zips to boast their accomplishment. Comprised of Hartford’s Riverfront 5K, the NEW Riverfront 4 Mile on a different Hartford course and the first-ever Riverfront 5 Mile in East Hartford:

HMF SAMPLER
A great excuse to set goals and keep moving from late summer through the fall, with an extra commemorative medal to celebrate the effort! Pick and choose distance of choice from three signature events that provide flexibility – either vary distance targets to align with training, set same-distance benchmarks (5K), or just try something new and fun with friends!

This holiday challenge is perfect for those that love festive 5Ks with friends and merry reasons to run! Slay a weekend of holiday 5Ks and the 12Ks of Christmas to earn a bundle of sweet seasonal swag.

LUCKY CHALLENGES
The ultimate way to start race season – fun, festive (and fast if you’re up for it!). Challenge yourself to multiple March races then enjoy post-race St. Paddy’s parties, earn lots of themed swag and a beautiful finisher medal! Take on the four-race Lucky Challenge in two weekends OR join the NEW Li’l Lucky two-race challenge, selecting any two of the events that work best. Participants enjoying all four races will earn a two-part connecting Lucky Challenge medal and those in the Li’l Lucky will earn one blingy finisher medal for their efforts. Slainte!
