MULTI-RACE CHALLENGE SERIES

Some new themes combined with returning favorites aim to inspire with a variety of options and training resources available through the Support Hub to encourage success. Parlay one awesome race experience to other events to inspire longer-term goals rewarded with commemorative finisher medals or swag. The 2026 multi-race options include walker-friendly events in March, the new Tri-State Triple offering various distance runs and another series option for walkers. Plus, the new All The Way! challenges inspire motivation for 5K and 10K goals, and the end-of-season Sleigh the Ks challenge that can easily inspire a variety of run or walk pace goals.

LUCKY CHALLENGES

The ultimate way to start race season – fun, festive (and fast if you’re up for it!). Challenge yourself to multiple March races then enjoy post-race St. Paddy’s parties, earn lots of themed swag and a beautiful finisher medal! Take on the four-race Lucky Challenge in two weekends OR join the Li’l Lucky two-race challenge, selecting any two of the events that work best. Participants enjoying all four races will earn a two-part connecting Lucky Challenge medal and those in the Li’l Lucky will earn one blingy finisher medal for their efforts. Slainte!

NEW 5K & 10K CHALLENGES

Get motivated through the running season with these two NEW multi-race goals. A great reason to keep up the effort with three unique 5K or 10K courses, custom swag at each race, and a commemorative medal to be proud of at the completion of the series.

Note: Challenges are not mix and match, participants must complete all three of the designated 5K or 10K distance races to be eligible and earn the respective medal.

NEW SPRING SHORELINE CHALLENGE

In a twist on the popular race series, the Spring Shoreline Challenge explores three beautiful race courses in participants’ distance of choice through the spring! These scenic courses all feature picturesque water views to fuel participants with a commemorative medal awaiting after the third finish.

CONNECTICUT DOUBLE

The ultimate state challenge…work up from half marathon in June to full marathon distance at the premier 26.2 mile experience in Connecticut. Get support and encouragement through the journey and then celebrate after your iconic finish line moment under the Arch in Hartford with an extra special medal.

RIVERFRONT SUMMER SERIES

A trio of varying race distances on Thursday evenings, this happy hour challenge welcomes moving with friends and celebrating summer evenings. Series finishers will pick up their lightweight custom long sleeve tee at the Riverfront 5 Mile in East Hartford. Comprised of Hartford’s Riverfront 5K, the redesigned Riverfront 4 Mile on a different Hartford course and the Riverfront 5 Mile in East Hartford.

NEW TRI-STATE TRIPLE

A great excuse to explore southern New England and keep moving through the fall, the new series ends with custom, quality drinkware to celebrate the effort! Pick and choose the distance of choice from three signature events that provide flexibility to meet new goals.

SLEIGH THE Ks

This holiday challenge is perfect for those that love festive 5Ks with friends and merry reasons to run! Slay a weekend of holiday 5Ks and the 12Ks of Christmas to earn a bundle of sweet seasonal swag – the 12Ks of Christmas sweatshirt, the long-sleeved shirt from Winterfest and custom holiday swag from the CLA Blue Back Mitten Run. Get the extra Sleigh the Ks redesigned ornament to proudly display this holiday season!

CHALLENGE/SERIES DETAILS

Registration can be done all at once for a multi-race challenge through the buttons above, or for the separate events in each challenge within any of the corresponding event registration processes. If already registered for any individual events, simply register for the others to be added into the challenge.

If available, both in-person and virtual race options are eligible for a challenge.

If you are not able to be present at the final event in the challenge to pick up your commemorative item, please contact the office. Unclaimed items will not be mailed.
