REDESIGNED IN 2024: The 5K (3.1 miles) is a fun route for participants of all abilities. This flat, looping course through the charming Farmington River Valley community of Simsbury features panoramic views of the river, local farms, Heublein Tower and the iconic Old Drake Hill Flower Bridge. RACE START

The 5K will start in the same location as the Fitness Walk on Iron Horse Boulevard. It will begin on the east side of the median, near the intersection with Wilcox Street, about ¼ mile south of the Simsbury Performing Arts Center. Both the 5K and Fitness Walk will travel together for the first 0.5 miles.

All 5K participants should line up in the front, ahead of the walkers.

This event is timed by Bay State Race Services and uses the B-Tag timing system (timing chip is attached to the back of your race bib). Please wear your race bib on the front of your shirt.

NOT ALLOWED ON THE COURSE

No dogs (service dogs must be identified as such at all times). No unregistered runners or walkers. Headphones discouraged. No bicycles, rollerblades, skateboards, or motorized vehicles.
