In order to deliver the best possible race experience for participants in mid-November on the shoreline, the event has been changed to 10K distance only with a later start time of 8:00 am (pending final local approval). All registered half marathon participants are being provided with transfer and refund options by email to ensure their preference based on these necessary changes to the November 14, 2021, event. The Hartford HealthCare Mystic Half Marathon and 10K will be back in May 2022 with all of the bells and whistles of the beloved springtime event.
For the first-time ever as a crisp fall race, experience the beautiful Mystic shoreline community at the Hartford HealthCare Mystic 10K! Enjoy 6.2 miles from Olde Mistick Village, past historic ships, through the charming downtown with race finish at Mystic Aquarium.
All participants receive a comfy hoodie sweatshirt and a custom designed finisher medal with signature race theme. After the finish, enjoy a stroll through picturesque Mystic and take advantage of some great discounts!
HMF is proud to continue our support of the Rotary Club of Mystic as the charity partner of the Hartford Healthcare Mystic 10K. The Rotary Club is dedicated to making a positive impact on the greater Mystic area through an annual scholarship program, local grants program and international efforts.
There are NO REFUNDS of new registration fees, however, participants may choose to defer their race registration for any reason up to 14 days before the event. Policy Details
Effective May 19, 2021, per order of CT Governor Ned Lamont, face masks will not be required at outdoor events in Connecticut. Keeping with state recommendations, runners, volunteers, spectators and staff will not be required to wear masks at any Hartford Marathon Foundation (HMF) event. We encourage those more comfortable wearing masks to continue to do so and urge unvaccinated participants attending HMF Events to wear a face mask for their own safety and for the safety of those who have vulnerable conditions or weakened immune systems.
HMF will continue to maintain safety protocols at all events, including hand washing and sanitizing stations, modified water distribution and spacing of start and finish areas to allow social distance.
