Participants in the virtual race are provided a variety of run routes to enjoy that highlight places of interest in the Mystic region outside of the in-person race course you know and love. Learn about places to visit and virtual experiences offered throughout one of CT’s most popular destinations, and get lots of chances to win freebies from local hot spots, like lobster roll feasts, homemade cider and sweet treats and craft brews.

Register for the Hartford Healthcare Mystic Half Marathon,10K, or take on both distances to be on the 19.3 Mile – Lobster Roster. Run or walk anytime between Friday, November 13 and Sunday, November 15th:

Registration fee for any race is $45 per person.

This event gives participants the flexibility to participate when and where it is convenient. As such, there are no refunds and no deferments for virtual events.

SWAG

All registered participants earn a finisher medal and a technical long sleeve quarter zip (size chart). Three curbside swag pick-up options are available, details below (please follow all directional signage and maintain appropriate social distance).

19.3 MILE – LOBSTER ROSTER

Motivated to run more mileage during race weekend? Take on the 10K and the half marathon distances and be featured on the Lobster Roster, an online wall of fame! Submit results separately to be included within each race distance.

Note, the registration fee ($45) is the same but you must select the Challenge option in registration to submit multiple results.

Already registered for a distance and want to change to the challenge? Just log-in to your haku participant account to make a race distance change and select 19.3 Mile – Lobster Roster.

RESULT SUBMISSION

Runners will be timed and measured using your own timing device. To make your race official, submit your run or walk through your haku participant account between 12:00 AM on Friday, November 13 and 11:59 PM on Monday, November 16, using one of the two following options:

  • Option 1 – sync your compatible wearable device prior to the race. Results will be uploaded to your Haku results platform once your watch resyncs to your application. Once your device syncs, select the activity to submit for results. WEARABLE SYNC DETAILS

What is a virtual race?

A virtual race is an alternative race experience that allows runners the freedom and flexibility to take part in a race from wherever they’d like. Simply register online, run or walk the race distance, then upload your finish time to compare it to others.

When do I participate and how does the race get timed?

You must run or walk your race between 12:00 AM on Friday, November 13th and 11:59 PM on Sunday, November 15th.

All race options will be timed and measured using your own timing device.

Where do I run?

Anywhere you want! Start right at your front door, jump on a treadmill, head to your favorite bike trail, or create and explore a special new route to commemorate this year’s race. Just be safe, adhere to social distancing recommendations, and follow all public safety directives.
