Group runs continue at Fleet Feet, West Hartford on Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings, and at soundRUNNER, Glastonbury on Wednesday evenings.


Come see how Running Changes Everything! Train for the HMF O’Hartford 5K on Sunday, March 22. This 5K training program is geared towards beginners and offers three options: all-walk, walk/run intervals and all-run. You can switch groups depending on how you feel each Saturday. Energetic coaches will join you during the run and cheer you on every step of the way!

Program Start: Intro/Welcome Session for first time participants: Saturday, January 18 at 8 AM.

First Official Practice: Saturday, January 18 at 9 AM.

Get Ready to Run! 5K Training Program – A 9-week training program to encourage local friends to get up and move! Let us help you reach your goal of completing a 5K. Not only will you complete your goal, but you also will meet some fantastic running partners in the GRR family.

Fleet Feet Zoomerang Kids – This non-competitive “open track” program is designed for kids aged 3-12. It gives them the opportunity to experience running in a fun, friendly atmosphere where the motto is “Will run for worms” (gummy worms, that is!).

Girls in Stride Running – Girls in grades 1-8 can train for a 5K using games and drills that make running fun, while also improving athletic performance for those who play other sports. This non-competitive training program is offered for all levels of runners. Sign up through Glastonbury Parks & Recreation, the group will meet at the Riverfront Park Gazebo in Glastonbury.

Mpower Boys Running – Designed for boys ages 6-14 who want to train for a 5K. Modeled after popular Couch-to-5K plans, MPower’s training program is designed for all levels of runners: from very beginners to experienced racers. Focus will be on proper form and pacing while building endurance over the weeks through a combination of running drills, games and core strength exercises. Training programs in Avon, Farmington and West Hartford.
