HMF RED DRESS RUN TRAINING
Get moving together! Whether you are a woman who currently runs or walks and enjoys the camaraderie and motivation of a group; or you are trying to start a healthier lifestyle or get more active, the HMF Red Dress Run FREE 6-week training program welcomes you. Tailored for walkers, first-time runners and current runners, the group will offer a welcoming community leading up to race day.
Program Start: June 1 – 7, 2019
Program Schedule: Training groups will be held in 10 Connecticut locations. We suggest you sign up for one main training location, however, during the 6-week time period, you can move to other locations or attend multiple times per week. Sign Up Here…

FLEET FEET NO BOUNDARIES 5K
Come see how Running Changes Everything! Train for the HMF Old Wethersfield 5K on Sunday, August 25. This 5K training program is geared towards beginners and offers three options: all-walk, walk/run intervals and all-run. You can switch groups depending on how you feel each Saturday. Energetic coaches will join you during the run and cheer you on every step of the way!
Program Start: Intro/Welcome Session for first time participants: Saturday, June 15 at 9 AM.
First Official Practice: Saturday, June 22 at 8:30 AM.
Program Schedule: 10-weeks. Coached Group Runs on Saturday’s at 9 AM — Guided Runs on Sundays (4 PM) and Wednesdays (6:30 PM).
FLEET FEET 10K TRAINING PROGRAM
Come conquer the mid-distance race goal you’ve been chasing! Join Fleet Feet to train for the HMF Old Wethersfield 10K on Sunday, August 25. This 10-week program is great for any runner who has recently completed at least a 5K – but is also good for those who can already run a 10K but want to get faster (and run more comfortably). The program includes coached group runs each Saturday for 10 Weeks at Fleet Feet in West Hartford.
First All-Participant Group Training Session: Saturday, June 22 at 8:00 AM.
FLEET FEET HALF MARATHON TRAINING
Whether you want to toe the line for 13.1 for the first time, set a new PB for the distance, or just spend those miles having fun and making friends, this program is for you. Bring your goals, your story, your good runs and not-so-good runs, your questions, your sense of humor – and let’s crush this race together!
Goal Race: Hartford Half Marathon, Saturday, October 12, 2019 (Registrants are responsible for signing up for race as fee is not part of program cost.)
To participate in this program, you must be able to run 5 miles at a 13 minutes per mile pace by our first practice.
Program Start: Saturday, July 27 at 8 AM.
Program Schedule: Saturday mornings for 10 weeks at Fleet Feet, West Hartford.
FLEET FEET MARATHON TRAINING
Want to conquer the marathon distance but need guidance, company and motivation? Fleet Feet has got you covered with a training program for the Eversource Hartford Marathon or other fall marathon! Program includes a proven training plan, a technical t-shirt, coached weekend long runs, weekly fun runs and coached track workouts, discounts on shoes, apparel, accessories and nutrition at Fleet Feet, informative talks given by doctors and nutritionists, weekly emails from your certified coaches and a group of new friends to train with!
Program Start: Sunday, June 30 at 7:00 AM at Fleet Feet, West Hartford.
This 15-week program is open to first-time and repeat marathoners, but it is not appropriate for the new runner who doesn’t have a solid base of training since we will run approximately 10 miles during our first practice. Pace groups will be available from 7-11 minute/mile paces (some groups will encourage a walk/run strategy). Runners will be placed in appropriate pace groups based on their recent race times.
CONNECTICUT SPORTS & FITNESS MARATHON AND HALF MARATHON TRAINING
Train for the Eversource Hartford Marathon and Half Marathon with this 14 week training program, perfect for runners of every level. The plans are designed to help runners reach their goals by focusing on improving mobility, as well as increasing strength and endurance.

Get ready for your next half-marathon with the Tribe Runner 13.1 Program at Sudor Taino. Using a strategic step-by-step process, their expert coaches will be there to guide you every step of the way!
These sessions follow a training plan and can include:
