    • HMF Girl Squad – for active women who love to run, explore new activities and have fun together.
    • Road Runners Club of America (RRCA)
    • Run 169 Towns Society – challenge yourself to run all 169 towns in Connecticut!
    • Glastonbury River Runners – open to runners of all ages and abilities. Beginner training, weekly runs, kids programs, and community events.
    • HEAT – Hartford Extended Area Triathletes, a Connecticut triathlon club. Group training opportunities, social events, race calendar and information for those new to triathlons.
    • Trail Sisters – a group dedicated to growing women’s participation and opportunity within the sport of trail running through inspiration, education and empowerment.  The CT group has a Facebook page.
    • CT Trailmixers – A trail running club based in central Connecticut. The club runs year-round across the state – winter, spring, summer, and fall – hosting regular social group runs, races, book talks, and other events.

INJURY PREVENTION

  • HMF League of Injured Runners
    • A partnership between HMF and The Connecticut Sports Medicine Institute (CSMI) at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford. This welcoming community is available to help get runners through the mental anguish and physical challenges of injury.
