The 10K course starts on High Street adjacent to Wesleyan University, then follows a counterclockwise loop around campus. This two loop course has rolling hills before a fast downhill finish on Old Church Street. USATF Certified Course: #CT22006JHP.

The race start will consist of one corral with “Self Seed” pace per mile signs to assist with participant spacing.
The 10K will start in the same location as the 5K on High Street (about 3 blocks west of Union Green). Both races will run together for 2.6 miles.

This event is timed by Bay State Race Services and uses the B-Tag timing system (timing chip is attached to the back of your race bib). Please wear your race bib on the front of your shirt.
COURSE LIMITS & REQUIREMENTS
Course limit is 1 hour and 30 minutes for the Middletown 10K. To finish within these time limits you must maintain a pace of approximately 14:30 minutes per mile. 10K runners must pass the checkpoint at the 2.6 mile mark within 40 minutes. Participants must be at least 9 years of age on race day to enter the 10K.
NOTE: While we do allow baby jogger/strollers in this event, participants must follow the stroller policy detailed HERE.
