Hotels

Why book through us? When you stay at one of the event’s official hotel partners, you are supporting the event and its positive economic impact to the local communities.

Your reservation information is held by the CT Convention & Sports Bureau until August 12, at which time it is transferred to the hotel. You are not charged for your room until that date. Any questions about your reservation need to be directed to the CT Convention contact and not the hotel. Details are at the top of the reservation page.

Hotel reservations must be made prior to August 12.

SUSTAINABILITY

Run The Green Way:

At HMF, we believe that “run the greenway” doesn’t just mean going for a jog on some multi-use trails, it means putting on an event that is environmentally conscious and eco-friendly. To bring this mindset to life, we’ll be implementing a range of sustainable initiatives:

  • Locally Sourced Food
  • Responsibly Sourced Race Swag
  • Solar Powered Operations
  • Eliminate cups at all hydration stations
  • Reduce Event Waste through Composting & Recycling
  • Travel from Rhode Island through Massachusetts to Connecticut in the most eco-friendly method ever – running!
  • Leave it better than we found it
    • In 2019, four community PLOGGING events were held to clean up sections of the course through group runs – Manchester, Putnam, Willimantic, and East Hartford
    • In 2019 & 2021, Webster Bank $5,000 donation to East Coast Greenway Alliance to help protect and preserve local sections of the trail
    • In 2020, Webster Bank supported the HMF Evergreen Adventure to help families discover 20 lesser known state parks in Connecticut and Rhode Island in a safe, socially distanced opportunity to explore the outdoors.  Donations of $10 for every participant were provided to the East Coast Greenway.
    • In 2021, Webster Bank and HMF Events partnered with Bike Walk Bolton and the Town of Manchester to host a Free Youth Bike Safety Rodeo for kids ages 5-12 to promote safe riding skills.
