Welcome to the RiMaConn Relay

#RiMaCONN Grab your best running buddies and join this epic relay adventure! Travel through 95 miles of southern New England on a network of scenic multi-use trails of the East Coast Greenway. It’s a totally unique race that will get your team from Rhode Island through Massachusetts to Connecticut by the most eco-friendly transportation method ever – running. Be part of a 6-member team or take on more miles in a 3-person ultra team.

This end-of-summer challenge will feature locally sourced food and ice cold local beer. Sweet swag for each participant includes a commemorative race shirt, a reusable water bottle, custom goodr sunglasses and a finisher’s medal worthy of your epic accomplishment.

The race starts at the Blackstone State Park, Lincoln, RI, and winds through 20 towns in Rhode Island, Massachusetts and Connecticut, passing along rivers, forests and along shaded trails. You’ll begin with a wave start on Saturday morning and cross the finish line in the evening with a modified post-race party on the Connecticut River at Mortensen Riverfront Plaza in Hartford.

90% (up from 85% in 2021!) of the course runs on the Blackstone River Bikeway, Southern New England Trunkline Trail, Air Line Trail, Hop River Trail and Charter Oak Greenway. A small portion (10%) of the course travels on roads.
