It’s time to get racing, CT! With new safety protocols in place, the Riverfront Scramble presented by Stanley Black & Decker will be moving to a Saturday morning race in August.

It’s a Boston vs New York throw-down theme – choose an allegiance and show it off! Every participant earns a custom technical t-shirt.

The in-person 5K race will be modified to adhere to social distancing guidelines with on-site support services provided. Participants will start in multiple waves and race bibs will have official B-Tag timing. Packaged to-go snacks will be provided for all to enjoy after leaving the Riverfront.

There will be three start wave windows: 7:00-8:00 am, 8:30-9:30 am, 10:00-11:00 am. Each wave is limited to 150 registrants, participants must sign up for their start wave window in advance during registration. After the race, participants pick up their custom technical t-shirt and enjoy a pre-packaged snack on the way back to their vehicles. Results will be posted online periodically throughout the event, times are based only on chip time, there will be no gun time. Final results and divisions will be scored to include runners from all waves.

Not interested in the in-person race, but still want to take part in the action? Register for the Virtual Race option!
