RUN CLUBS AND GROUP RUNS

Explore your surroundings, meet new people and get your run on! Most groups welcome runners and riders of all abilities to join and don’t require advance registration. However, since schedules may change and pace and distance vary, it’s always best to check first.

Many groups also support their communities with fundraising events and volunteer opportunities.

A running club that provides a mechanism with which you can make things happen in the world of running.

Manchester Running Club –

MRC offers individualized running plans for beginners to sub-elite runners. Training groups are open to all levels of runners.

Run 169 Towns Society –

Challenge yourself to run all 169 towns in Connecticut.

Shenipsit Striders –

A group of people ranging from walkers and hikers to speedsters and ultra-runners.

Silk City Striders –

A Manchester, CT based running club, open to runners of all speeds.

Eight Six Go –

Eight Six Go is an inclusive running group based in Hartford, Connecticut, focused on creating a community where people feel comfortable enough to challenge themselves. They run in & around our Capital City, remaining visible to those who may one day find themselves joining!

Kelley’s Pace –

Kelley’s Pace is located in Mystic, CT and holds groups runs from their store on Mondays at 6 PM and Saturdays at 8 AM.
