Group training programs provide structure and guidance to help you meet your running goals. Most programs include at least one group meeting each week and provide guidance for training runs on your own between meetings. Look for a group that best fits your running experience, goals and schedule.
FLEET FEET NO BOUNDARIES
Couch to 5K Program
Program Begins: SATURDAY, June 19 @ 8:00 AM at Fleet Feet, West Hartford.
Graduation Race: Old Wethersfield 5K on Sunday, August 22.
This 10 week program will culminate in our graduation race. The formal group session meets at the store every Saturday morning. The Couch to 5K program is designed to help get you from the couch to the finish line! This program will utilize run/walk intervals though you are welcome to do “all-run” too if you’d like to challenge yourself even more.
FLEET FEET HALF MARATHON TRAINING
Program Begins: SATURDAY, July 17 @ 7:30 AM at Fleet Feet, West Hartford.
Goal Race: Eversource Hartford Half Marathon, SATURDAY, October 9.
This 13 week program is open to first-time and repeat half marathoners, but it is not appropriate for the new runner who cannot run 7 miles at a minimum of a 12:00 pace before our first practice.
FLEET FEET MARATHON TRAINING
Program Begins: SUNDAY, June 27 @ 6:30 AM at Fleet Feet, West Hartford.
Goal Race: Eversource Hartford Marathon, SATURDAY, October 9.
This 16-week program is open to first-time and repeat marathoners, but it is not appropriate for the new runner who doesn’t have a solid base of training as we will run 10 miles during our first practice.
