2-PERSON RELAY

Not ready for the half marathon, and want a longer challenge then the 5k? Find a buddy and challenge yourselves to the 2-person relay! The race will follow the same course as the Surftown Half, with one exchange zone located within walking distance of the pre & post race area.

DESCRIPTION

The 2-Person Relay at the Surftown Half consists of two legs and is run simultaneously with the Half Marathon on the same race course.

DIVISIONS & AWARDS

This event is timed by Bay State Race Services and uses the B-Tag timing system (timing chip is attached to the back of the race bib). Please wear the race bib on the front of the shirt.

  • Male Team
  • Female Team
  • Mixed Team

AWARDS:

  • Commemorative Awards to the Top Team in Each Division (each member of the team will receive an award)
  • All awards based on net time
  • No “double dipping”

COURSE LIMITS

Course limit is 3 hours for the Surftown Half Marathon.  To finish within these time limits you must maintain a pace of approximately 13:44 minutes per mileMore…

NOT ALLOWED ON THE COURSE

No dogs (service dogs must be identified as such at all times). No unregistered runners or walkers. Headphones discouraged. No bicycles, rollerblades, skateboards, or motorized vehicles.

Baby Jogger/Strollers are NOT permitted in the half marathon race but will be allowed in the 5K race, please see details on the stroller policy HERE.
