Due to the extreme heat expected this weekend, Sunday morning’s Achilles CT Hope & Possibility Run has been changed to a 5K only (fitness walk and HMF FitKids events still available). Participants registered for the 10K will automatically be moved to the 5K race.
Safety of participants and volunteers is our number one priority, we urge everyone to hydrate through the weekend and proceed with caution in all physical activity. Ample water and nuun hydration will be available on Sunday, but participants should plan ahead to hydrate before and after their race.
This event benefits the great local work of Achilles Connecticut Chapter – we appreciate your continued support and understanding as we make this race distance change for the safety of all participants.
