Recognize that special person who inspires you to cross the finish line in Hartford on October 8! Submit their name to be celebrated on the Eversource Hartford Marathon and Half Marathon race course and in Bushnell Park on race day.

This program is free and a gift to Eversource Hartford Marathon participants thanks to the generosity of the HMF Board of Directors.

HOW IT WORKS

Registered race participants just log-in to their haku participant account to submit the name of someone they want to recognize on race day. Submissions will be accepted through October 7. At designated points along the marathon and half marathon courses, names submitted will be displayed or announced, connected to the participant’s timing chip on their bib. There will also be a designated recognition area in Bushnell Park.

Note, participants in the Charity 5K are welcome to submit names and visit the Bushnell Park recognition area for the Who Powers You experience. Due to heavy participant traffic, on-course recognition is not feasible.

STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTION

1. Login to your Hartford Marathon Foundation haku participant account HERE
2. At the top of you account click on “Your Registrations”
3. Find and click into your Eversource Hartford Marathon event registration
4. Scroll to the bottom of your registration to the question “Who Powers You?”
5. Type in your response and click the blue Save button in the bottom of the screen
