RUCK DIVISION DETAILS

The “Ruck Division” is a unique registration division available in the 10K and 5K events, created for participants looking for a special way to honor veterans during their race. Open to everyone, simply select YES during the registration process and you’ll be included in this division in the race results.

On race day, Ruck Division participants must carry a ruck sack (back pack) or weighted vest that weighs a minimum of 10 LBs. There will be no official weigh-in process, nor any type of bonus for going above and beyond the requirements, just an honor system. The top 3 overall male and female finishers in the “ruck division” of each race will be honored at the awards ceremony.

Please note: there will be no early start for Ruck Division participants, and they must be able to still meet the course limit requirements. See each race’s details for more information on course limits.

Participants in the Fitness Walk are welcomed and encouraged to take part in this special category, note the Walk is untimed, and therefore no awards will be presented to those that participate.
