Founded in 1860 in Hartford, four women opened their homes to youth and over 162 years later, Boys & Girls Clubs of Hartford has become a leader in youth development. The Clubs work with young people to provide them opportunities to explore interests, and empower youth to excel in school. BGCH actively seeks to enrich young lives by focusing on six key pillars: Academic Success, Character and Leadership, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, Health and Wellness, STEAM, and Workforce Readiness.
