RUN FOR GOOD
ALZHEIMER’S ASSOCIATION CONNECTICUT CHAPTER
The Alzheimer’s Association, founded in 1980, leads the way to end Alzheimer’s and all other dementia – by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support.
The Connecticut Chapter is the primary source of resources and support for the thousands of families affected by dementia across the state, and advocates for public policies that increase critical research funding and support all those affected. Alzheimer’s Association staff and trained volunteers offer community education programs, support groups and early-stage social engagement opportunities for those living with dementia and their caregivers.
The Alzheimer’s Association 24/7 Helpline (800.272.3900) is a free service offering support for people living with dementia, caregivers, families and the public. Connect with a live person who can provide information, local resources, crisis assistance and emotional support – all available in over 200 languages. More…
