10K

The O’ Hartford 10K is a double-loop course that runs through the Coltsville Historic District and Colt Park. The course is relatively flat and is topped off with an iconic finish at midfield inside Trinity Health Stadium, home to the Hartford Athletic!

RACE START

The race start will consist of one corral with “Self Seed” pace per mile signs to assist with participant spacing.

The 10K will start in the same location as the 5K on Huyshope Avenue (just outside of Trinity Health Stadium). Both races will run together for 2.9 miles.

This event is timed by Bay State Race Services and uses the B-Tag timing system (timing chip is attached to the back of the race bib). Please wear the race bib on the front of the shirt.

COURSE LIMITS

Course limit is 1 hour and 30 minutes for the O’ Hartford 5K. To finish within these time limits 5K participants must maintain a pace of approximately approximately 14:30 minutes per mile. 10K runners must pass the checkpoint at the 2.9 mile mark within 45 minutes. MARKINGS:

  • Yellow signs with blue arrows mark all turns
  • All mile points are marked on the road and with signs

NOT ALLOWED ON THE COURSE

No dogs (service dogs must be identified as such at all times). No unregistered runners or walkers. Headphones discouraged. No bicycles, rollerblades, skateboards, or motorized vehicles.

While we do allow baby jogger/strollers in this event, participants must follow the stroller policy detailed HERE.
