HALF MARATHON

Breathtaking! Flat! Scenic! Did we mention gorgeous? We are thrilled to present our oceanfront half marathon course. We know you will love it as much as we do! USATF Certified Course: RI22002RN

Race start is just outside of the east end of Misquamicut State Beach on Atlantic Avenue. After the start, head west on Atlantic Avenue. (mile 1-2) takes you past summer cottages and north to Shore Road. Left onto Shore Road for a stunning waterfront tour as you make your way to Watch Hill (mile 3 – 4). Soon you’ll gaze upon impressive Victorian summer homes, the majestic Ocean House and the quaint village of Watch Hill (mile 5) with our perennial favorite restaurant, the Olympic Tea Room. Heading east out of Watch Hill on Oceanview Highway, you will devour a breathtaking trek along oceanfront marshes, stunning homes and the Misquamicut Golf Course (mile 6 – 7). Turn right on Bayberry and right on Maplewood, left on Atlantic and back through the heart of Misquamicut, well paved road along the beach (mile 8 – 10). Enter into Weekapaug where the course winds around the rocky coastline and through this picturesque beach community (mile 11). You head back on Atlantic Avenue for the last two miles to a glorious finish!
