Below information pertains to the in-person half marathon, 10K & 5K races ONLY:

    • Register by May 9, 2023 to guarantee size, first come first serve after this date.

HMF CHALLENGES

Challenge yourself! Each race distance at the UConn Health Half Marathon, 10K & 5K is part of a unique HMF Challenge that can earn participants an exclusive Challenge Medal. For more details on each experience and how to register, click the links below.

Registration for any of the challenges can be done by clicking the “register” link above, or by simply registering individually for each event/distance in the challenge. If you have already registered for one or two events, simply register for the second or third and you’ll automatically be added to the Challenge.

Middletown 10K & Burlington to Collinsville participants wanting to add additional races to participate in the Bunch of 10Ks Challenge, complete individual race registration for the UConn Health 10K.

* Both the in-person and virtual race options are eligible for the Challenge.

DEADLINES & CAPACITY

Online registration remains open until 30 minutes before race start (or race sells out).
In-person registration is available at packet pickup.

Refund Protection available for purchase at the time of registration only. Registrants may also defer entry for credit to a future HMF event (no later than 14 days before race date) or transfer registration directly to another participant. Read the details on updated policies HERE

*Refund Protection is unavailable with challenge bundle registration. To purchase this protection, register individually for each event.

HMF virtual events give participants the flexibility to participate when and where it is convenient. As such, there are no refunds and no deferments for virtual events. For complete details on HMF deferments/transfers and all policies, click here.

PACKET PICKUP

All participants must show a Photo ID to pick up race packets (parent/guardian of minors must show ID).

Show your Check-in Pass at packet pickup to speed up the process. Download your Check-in Pass onto your phone within your participant account.

Credit Cards and Apple Pay accepted for race day race registration and event merchandise. No cash.

Race Day: 6:00 AM to 7:00 AM – Simsbury Performing Arts Center, Simsbury, CT

Note: To designate someone to pick up another runner’s race packet, designee must bring or show a copy of this signed waiver/permission slip. Photocopies or phone pictures of the form will be accepted.

MAIL MY PACKET:
For the convenience of runners who plan to come to Simsbury on race day only, the mail packet option is available during online registration for $20 per packet and must be reserved by Sunday, May 14, 2023. To add Mail My Packet separate from online registration, click here to access your Participant Account.

PERSONALIZED BIB:
Have your first name printed on your race bib by purchasing the Personalized Bib product available during registration for $10. This must be purchased by Sunday April 16, 2023. Please note, your bib will be available for pickup at the race packet pickup(s).

Do you want to have your race packet mailed to you along with a personalized race bib with your first name on it? PARTICIPANT REQUIREMENTS

At least 12 years of age on race day to enter the Half Marathon (virtual or in-person).

At least 9 years of age on race day to enter the 10K (virtual or in-person).

At least 5 years of age on race day to enter the 5K (virtual or in-person).

All participants (parent/guardian if minor) must sign a Hartford Marathon Foundation waiver form and show a Photo ID to pick up race packet.

EMERGENCY TEXTING SERVICE

HMF has emergency texting services in place to be used ONLY in situations such as event delays, cancellations or other emergencies. If we have last-minute event changes, we will text pertinent instructions/updates. NOTE: We never use this information for marketing or solicitation.
