REGISTRATION INFO

HMF Events are professionally organized to provide safe, well-supported races including medical personnel and safety services. In addition, registered participants will receive the following swag and race perks:

  • Short sleeve technical shirt
    • Register by May 13, 2026 to guarantee size, first come first serve after this date.
    • Breathable and super soft tri-blend fabric. 46% Poly, 27% Cotton, 27% Rayon. Size chart
  • Custom finisher’s medal
  • Ice cold craft beer from New England Brewing Company (one free beer to all finishers 21+ with ID)
  • Delicious post-race food from Bear’s Smokehouse BBQ and grab & go snacks from Uncle Crumbles and LesserEvil

  • For HMF Milestone members:
    • Free birthday gift for participants or volunteers with June birthday

FEES & REGISTRATION POLICIES

Refund Protection available for purchase at the time of registration or up to five days after a registration has been completed within your participant account. Registrants may also defer entry for credit to a future HMF event (no later than 14 days before race date) or transfer registration directly to another participant up to 7 days before race day.

PACKET PICKUP

Online registration remains open until 30 minutes before race start (or race sells out). Register online and speed up bib pickup by downloading your Check-in Pass from your participant account to your phone before you get in line.


In-person registration is available at packet pickup if the race is not at capacity. Credit Cards and Apple Pay accepted for race registration and event merchandise. No cash.

Note: To designate someone to pick up another runner’s race packet, designee must bring or show a copy of this signed waiver/permission slip. Photocopies or phone pictures of the form will be accepted.

CONNECTICUT DOUBLE

The ultimate state challenge…work up from half marathon in June to full marathon distance at the premier 26.2 mile experience in Connecticut. Get support and encouragement through the journey and then celebrate after your iconic finish line moment under the Arch in Hartford with an extra special medal. REGISTER HERE

5K & 10K CHALLENGES

MAIL MY PACKET

For the convenience of runners who plan to come to Simsbury on race day only, the mail packet option is available during online registration for $22 per packet. Mail My Packet can be added later in your Participant Account. Address changes can also be made in your Participant Account. PERSONALIZED BIB

Have your first name printed on your race bib by purchasing the Personalized Bib product available during registration for $10. This must be purchased by Sunday, April 19, 2026. Please note, your bib will be available for pickup at the race packet pickup(s).

FinisherPix is the official photographer at the UConn Health Half Marathon, 10K, & 5K. 24-48h after the race, you can view and order your personal race photos.
