For All Ages

For All Ages is Connecticut’s only nonprofit organization dedicated to connecting the generations and inspiring action to end loneliness, reduce ageism, and improve mental, physical, and social health. Our innovative programs and events provide positive, collaborative experiences between the generations that showcase the wisdom and vibrancy of older adults while countering loneliness.

We enrich lives, promote kindness and caring, and provide vital social connection for people of all ages that improves health. Since launching in 2019, our volunteer-driven organization has facilitated thousands of hours of intergenerational, community-based programming and education on the critical importance of social health, serving residents across the state.

We are proud to be the convener of The CT Collaborative to End Loneliness, a state-wide initiative to foster social connection for Connecticut’s residents. More than 60% of teens and adults are currently feeling lonely and disconnected, driving increases in depression, substance abuse, gun violence, heart disease, stroke, dementia, and suicide. Together, we can eliminate loneliness and improve the health of our families, friends, neighbors, and communities. Join us!

Achilles International-Connecticut Chapter

Achilles International, a global organization operating in 18 countries including the US, transforms the lives of people with disabilities through athletic programs and social connection. Across Connecticut, our Chapter of Achilles breaks down barriers to race start lines and empowers the disability community get active, set goals, and accomplish them as they cross the finish line. Our athletes walk, run, crutch, crank or roll in parks and races around our state while bringing hope, inspiration, and the joys of achievement to all.

Anchor Health

Anchor Health is Connecticut’s leading health center for the LGBTQ community. We provide the most groundbreaking, radically inclusive, gender-affirming, and sex-positive care possible in Connecticut and beyond. Founded in 2016, Anchor Health currently serves over 3,700 patients, more than half transgender and gender diverse, across full-service health centers in Hamden and Stamford.

Our approach to care understands how intersecting systems of oppression affect our patients’ health and well-being. We offer primary care, gender-affirming medicine, HIV prevention and treatment, sexual health care, behavioral health services, and more. Dedicated case managers are available to help address barriers to care faced by patients. Our in-house pharmacy quickly and conveniently provides low-cost prescriptions.

Anchor Health continuously works to advance health equity for LGBTQ people through advocacy, community-building, education, and research.

Alzheimer’s Association

The Alzheimer’s Association leads the way to end Alzheimer’s and all other dementia — by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support. We work in all communities to identify disparities & barriers, and collaborate with community champions to ensure that everyone has fair and equal access to support, education, and services. We serve the 80,000 people living with Alzheimer’s disease in Connecticut, their caregivers, and many unpaid family members and friends. Funds raised support free educational programs, the 24/7 helpline, dementia care consultations, support groups, our advocacy efforts and more!

Chrysalis Center

Chrysalis Center, Inc. is a private, non-profit, socially innovative multiservice organization that serves individuals and families living in the State of Connecticut.

Chrysalis Center helps those living in poverty, veterans, women and children, young adults and individuals who are struggling with mental health, addiction, HIV/AIDS, homelessness, food insecurity, and those returning from incarceration. Through job training, housing and other community healthcare services, Chrysalis Center helps individuals transform their lives by “Getting help… Getting better… and Giving Back.”

CT Coalition Against Domestic Violence

CCADV is the voice against domestic violence across Connecticut. We lead a statewide network focused on advocacy, outreach and education. Our work transforms political, economic and social responses to end domestic violence in Connecticut. We are a membership organization of Connecticut’s 18 domestic violence service agencies that provide critical support to domestic violence victims including safety planning, emergency shelter, court advocacy, counseling & support groups, among other services.

Girls on the Run Greater Connecticut

Girls on the Run Greater Connecticut empowers girls of all abilities and backgrounds through running. We’re more than just a running program – we’re here to inspire the joy, health, and confidence of young girls everywhere. Girls on the Run creates and offers after-school empowerment programs designed for 3rd- to 8th-grade girls. The nonprofit helps participants recognize their inner strength, increase their level of physical activity, imagine their possibilities, and confidently stand up for themselves and others. How? Through the innovative integration of fun physical activities, life-skills lessons, and impactful community projects. Each GOTR season culminates in a celebratory 5K run/walk which shows the girls how the seemingly impossible, becomes possible.

Habitat For Humanity of North Central Connecticut

Habitat for Humanity North Central Connecticut is part of a global, nonprofit housing organization operated on Christian principles that seeks to put God’s love into action by building homes, communities, and hope. Habitat for Humanity North Central Connecticut is dedicated to eliminating substandard housing locally and worldwide through constructing, rehabilitating, and preserving homes; by advocating for fair and just housing policies; and by providing training and access to resources to help families improve their shelter conditions. Hospital for Special Care

Hospital for Special Care (HFSC) is the fourth largest, free-standing long-term acute care hospital in the U.S. and one of only two in the nation serving adults and children. HFSC is recognized for advanced care and rehabilitation in pulmonary care, acquired brain injury, medically-complex pediatrics, neuromuscular disorders including ALS research, spinal cord injury, comprehensive heart failure and comprehensive inpatient and outpatient treatment for children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder.

Located in New Britain and Hartford, CT, HFSC operates inpatient and outpatient facilities serving Southern New England and the Tri-State area on a not-for-profit basis.

Joe Andruzzi Foundation

The Joe Andruzzi Foundation (JAF) is committed to providing assistance to patients of all ages, any cancer, throughout New England who are struggling financially due to a cancer diagnosis. JAF provides various programs to help patients make ends meet. The Foundation helps alleviate financial and emotional stress by providing grants to assist with rent/mortgage, transportation to treatment, food, and more. Through our Assistance Programs and Wellness Assistance, the grant recipients can focus on their cancer treatment and not the financial distress that comes with it.

Jordan Porco Foundation

The Jordan Porco Foundation’s (JPF) mission is to prevent suicide, promote mental health, and create a message of hope for youth and young adults. We provide engaging and uplifting programming emphasizing peer-to-peer messaging promoting help seeking behavior, self-care, and coping skills. Our programs challenge stigma by talking openly about mental health, and educating about the risk factors and warning signs of suicide and other related mental health concerns. The Riley Farm Rescue

The Riley Farm Rescue is located in beautiful eastern Connecticut and is home to over 250 rescued animals. The Riley Farm Rescue’s mission is to rescue suffering animals and provide them with the quality and loving home they deserve through rehabilitation and long-term care.

Tighed Together

Tighed Together provides restorative and recreational outings for families who are experiencing significant trauma. Our comprehensive care plans support each member of the family as they become more and more resilient. Through play, laughter, adventure and compassion, we empower those whom we serve, in a series of healing sessions.
